At Economy Energy, we want to make things easy by providing convenient ways to top up your Smart meter.
Just register for the online payment service on the right (or click here to open in a new window), and you will be able to add credit to your Smart meter at any time, wherever you are. Why not save this page to your home screen on your Smart phone to make topping up even easier?
Please note: you will need an internet connection to use our online service. The service may be unavailable during maintenance. Please do not top up online before your registration (go-live) date.
You can also top up over the phone. Simply call 024 77 767 296 and press option 5, then follow the instructions.
Text PAY followed by your Smart payment card number and amount to 024 76 100 767 (Please note: if you wish to top up using this service, you must have previously registered online and ensure there is a space between each entry):
PAY [19 digit Smart payment card number] [amount]
It should look something like this (an example of a £10 top up):
PAY 0123456789012345678 10
There are no additional charges for using this service - you will only be charged at your standard network rates.
You can top up your Smart meter at any store displaying the PayPoint logo. Just hand the shop assistant your Smart card, pay for the amount you'd like topping up, they'll scan the card and hand it back to you. The credit will transfer to your meter automatically, so you won't need to do anything when you get home. Visit www.paypoint.com to find your nearest store.
